Hybrid Orientation Welcomes New BS GE Students to UP DGE

The UP Department of Geodetic Engineering (UP DGE) hosted a hybrid orientation on August 3, 2023, welcoming new first-year BS GE students both onsite at the Engineering Theater and online via Zoom. The event introduced students to the department’s curriculum, policies, and student organizations, followed by a bonding activity organized by GE Representatives.

The UP DGE officially welcomed its new batch of BS Geodetic Engineering students for AY 2023-2024 with a hybrid orientation program held on August 3. The event, attended by both onsite and online participants, aimed to equip students with essential knowledge about the department and foster a sense of community from the start of their academic journey.

Faculty members provided a comprehensive overview of UP DGE, covering the department’s profile, curriculum structure, academic policies, and available support services.
