The UP Department of Geodetic Engineering (UP DGE) successfully conducted a Town Hall Meeting on April 15, 2024, providing students and faculty an avenue to discuss key department updates and ongoing initiatives.

The meeting introduced the new department officials, outlining their roles in leading the department forward. Updates on student registration, GE 200 thesis concerns, and other academic matters were presented to ensure clarity and guidance for students.

One of the key highlights was the Geomatics Student Project Colloquium (GSPC), where students were encouraged to participate and showcase their projects. Additionally, announcements were made regarding facility use, including the implementation of the e-bridge system, which aims to enhance accessibility to academic resources.

In preparation for PTC-ACBET accreditation, the department shared its ongoing quality assurance (QA) activities, emphasizing the commitment to maintaining academic excellence and program accreditation standards. The GE Representatives also provided updates and addressed student concerns.
