BS Geodetic Engineering interns have successfully completed their On-the-Job Training (OJT) cycle for Midyear Term 2024, gaining valuable industry experience through partnerships with various Host Training Establishments (HTEs). The internship program provided students with practical exposure to surveying, geospatial analysis, and geomatics engineering, equipping them with essential skills for their future careers.

The UP Department of Geodetic Engineering expresses its sincere gratitude to the organizations that welcomed and guided its students throughout the training period. These include AB Surveying & Development, Argotek Positioning Solutions Inc., Center for Conservation Innovation PH Inc., Datum One Surveys Ltd. Co., National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA), NDR Surveying Services, Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA), PhilSurv Geodetic Services, RASA Surveying and Realty, SMART METRO Project, UP Marine Science Institute, UP Resilience Institute, and Vertex Premier Builders Inc.

Through these partnerships, students engaged in real-world applications of geodetic and geomatics engineering, gaining hands-on experience with the latest technologies and methodologies in the field. The department looks forward to strengthening collaborations with these organizations and expanding opportunities for future interns.
