GSPC 2023, held on May 13, 2023, at the Engineering Theater, Melchor Hall, UP Diliman, showcased student research and mapping innovations across Geomatics fields, recognizing outstanding works in oral presentations, thesis proposals, and map posters, with support from esteemed sponsors.

The Geomatics Student Project Colloquium (GSPC) 2023, organized by the UP Department of Geodetic Engineering and led by the Undergraduate Student Affairs Committee (UStAC), highlighted the creativity and ingenuity of students in Geomatics. Held on May 13, 2023, at the Engineering Theater, Melchor Hall, UP Diliman, this year’s colloquium showcased research and map outputs spanning Land Development, Remote Sensing, Geographic Information Systems, and Photogrammetry.

Students participated in oral presentations, thesis proposal posters, and map poster sessions, sharing their work and engaging in meaningful discussions with judges, faculty, and peers. These sessions provided a platform for skill demonstration, knowledge exchange, and professional development, reflecting the students' dedication to innovation in the field.

During the Oral Presentation Session, the Best Presenter award was given to the team behind Kamp Kilapsaw: A Land Development Project in Support to the Ecotourism Initiative of Tikub Lake in Ayusan I, Tiaong, Quezon (M.M.P.
