The Geodetic Engineering of the Philippines, Inc. – National Capital Region (GEP-NCR) honored Prof. Epifanio D. Lopez with the Lifetime Achievement Award during its 35th Annual Regional Convention held on 28–29 March 2025 at the Century Park Hotel, Manila. This recognition celebrates his decades of exemplary service and enduring impact on the profession.

Prof. Lopez is the former Chairperson of the UP Department of Geodetic Engineering and former Director of the UP Training Center for Applied Geodesy and Photogrammetry. He currently serves as the Chair of the Professional Regulatory Board of Geodetic Engineering. His leadership and mentorship have shaped generations of geodetic engineers, and his work has consistently advanced the profession, both in the academe and in regulatory practice.
