The Basic Visual Communication Skills Workshop for Scientific Applications, titled “It’s More Than Just a Pub,” provided an interactive learning experience for students and researchers looking to improve their ability to visually communicate scientific data. The event, held at the P&G Room, Melchor Hall, was organized to help participants create clear, impactful, and engaging visual materials for academic and professional use.

Led by Ms. Maria Louella P. Tinio, the session covered key principles of design, layout, and data visualization tailored to scientific contexts. Attendees actively participated in hands-on exercises, gaining practical skills in transforming research findings into visually compelling outputs.
