The University of the Philippines Department of Geodetic Engineering (UP DGE) convened its annual midyear planning sessions in two phases: July 3–6 for committee strategic planning and quality assurance discussions, and July 20–22 at Camayan Beach Resort, Subic, Bataan, where faculty members and staff shared their goals and outlined key objectives for AY 2023-2024.

The sessions focused on preparing for the upcoming accreditation of the BS Geodetic Engineering program and ensuring the department continues to uphold the highest standards in education, research, and service. Through collaborative efforts, the faculty and staff reaffirmed their commitment to positioning UP DGE as a global leader in geodetic and geomatics engineering.

With a clear vision for the future, UP DGE remains steadfast in its mission to nurture globally competitive professionals dedicated to national service.
