UP DGE Emerges as #1 Top Performing School in GELE 2024

UP Diliman achieved a 94.59% passing rate in the October 2024 Geodetic Engineers Licensure Examination (GELE), securing the #1 Top Performing School title. Among the passers, Kent Jeremy O. Batilo placed Top 3, while Melissa Alliana M. De Leon ranked Top 5.
The UP Department of Geodetic Engineering (UP DGE) continues its legacy of academic excellence as it emerged as the #1 Top Performing School in the October 2024 Geodetic Engineers Licensure Examination (GELE). With an impressive 94.59% passing rate, UP Diliman remains at the forefront of geodetic engineering education in the country.
This year, a total of 1,343 examinees nationwide took the board exam, with only 650 successfully passing, resulting in a 48.40% national passing rate. Despite the rigorous nature of the exam, UP DGE’s exceptional training and mentorship produced another batch of top-notchers, led by Kent Jeremy O. Batilo (Top 3) and Melissa Alliana M. De Leon (Top 5). Their outstanding performance reflects the department’s commitment to producing industry-ready geodetic engineers.
