The UP Department of Geodetic Engineering (UP DGE) achieved a 100% passing rate in the October 2023 Geodetic Engineers Licensure Examination (GELE), earning the title of Top Performing School. Special congratulations to Genny Marie C. Geñoso and Aubrey Lalaine A. Lomibao, who placed in the Top 10.
The University of the Philippines Department of Geodetic Engineering (UP DGE) has once again set the bar high in geodetic engineering education, achieving a 100% passing rate in the October 2023 Geodetic Engineers Licensure Examination (GELE). With all 80 examinees successfully passing, UP DGE has been recognized as the number one top-performing institution in this year’s board examination.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) formally honored UP DGE as the Top Performing School during the Oathtaking Ceremonies for New Geodetic Engineers at Manila Hotel. This distinction highlights the department’s commitment to academic excellence and the outstanding preparation of its graduates.
Adding to the celebration, Genny Marie C. Geñoso and Aubrey Lalaine A. Lomibao secured spots in the Top 10, exemplifying the exceptional caliber of UP DGE graduates. Their achievement reflects the dedication of the department’s faculty, staff, and students in maintaining the highest standards in geodetic engineering education.
